Welcome to Kansas History. This course is designed to take 12 weeks, completing a chapter each week. You should have the textbook: The Kansas Journey by Jennie Chinn. This textbook has been loaned to you by Lawrence Virtual School and will need to be returned to LVS in March 2015.
To navigate through this course please see the pages at the top of this screen. There is a page for each week. On that page you will find the assigned reading, the instructions for the online journal post (BLOG), the worksheets to be completed as well as additional activities to do online. You are free to make your own schedule for KS History with in the week. Here is what I would suggest: spend about 60 minutes each day on Kansas History and use the following schedule:

Tuesday Check out the internet resources and words to know
Wednesday Complete the blog reading and writing assignment
Thursday Complete the worksheets and attend the Kansas History Class Connect Session
Friday Complete the chapter exam
